Why I Started Taking Athletic Greens

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that I started a greens drink to improve my overall health. Here is my opinion about it. 

A few months ago, I began taking a pre-workout every morning before my workouts. It not only helped me get in a good workout, but it also helped me get through the workday without a crash at 2pm. 

However, about 2 months ago, I started to get headaches almost to the point of a migraine. I realized these were happening on the days I did not take the pre-workout and they were lasting for a couple of days.

The caffeine in them was affecting me too much. It had been years since I was partaking of caffeine in any form. 

I stopped taking the pre-workout and ordered the Athletic Greens instead.

When I was doing research on which greens would be best, Athletic Greens was the only one on every list I found.

    1. This was a huge part for me. I am no longer taking the other things I was to help. My gut health has been an issue for many years and since starting this it has become better.

    1. Another big deal here. It helps get me through my workout and day with the energy I need for work and my family.

    1. Recovery was one I did not really think about when I was looking for something. Recovery after a workout or injury is essential to everyday health. I especially like the less soreness I have noticed following a hard workout.
  4. Boosts to the Immune System
    1. Immune support is also important for my family with young kids in school. I for one cannot afford to be sick all the time.

What I Have Felt

I have also noticed I did not get a crash during the day. It is not as much of an energy boost as the pre-workout, but I am not getting headaches and feel better.

Finally, I have noticed feeling better overall. With the increased nutrition, I am improving my health. 

This last year, improving my overall health has been a priority. I started a greens drink to improve my overall health and I wanted to get in better shape with my workouts and eat better. Taking the Athletic Greens has helped along the way.
