Welcome! My name is Ashley, and I am a Physical Therapist in the Las Vegas Valley. My specialties include adolescent athletes and pediatrics, as well as adults with various diagnoses.
I have been a PT since 2013 and have been working in outpatient orthopedics ever since. I became interested in PT while in high school. I was a student athlete and fell in love with my sports medicine class. I have also always wanted a job where I could help people, making PT the obvious choice for me.
Having been born and raised in Nevada, I went to UNLV for my undergraduate and graduate degrees. It ended up being less expensive and made the most sense to stay. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2009 and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. Along the way, I have taken other classes to improve my knowledge base in many aspects of PT.
I started this blog for a couple of reasons: 1) to help spread information about how to help people improve their lives, 2) to showcase the physical therapy profession and how it can help many people 3) to have fun. I know the last one seems pretty plain but I genuinely love what I do and I have so much fun helping people.
